Moonshine Maple Syrup

Bovina, NY is a special place filled with an interesting and eclectic population of rugged individualists. The reclusive sap wizard who cooks up this special brew is one such character. Even his closest friends aren't quite sure what is going on out in the shed. Fortunately the Sugarmeister has generously allowed us to be one of the very few retail venues where his backcountry alchemy is appreciated and offered to the public. The Maple Master doesn't say much about his product, understandably. Like any great artist, he cooks away until, at last, the life within the block of marble is revealed and set free for us to savor, another masterpiece from the Barnyard Buddha of Bovina. Don't ask me who he is. I Will Never Reveal The Secret! Well, maybe...if you're nice and buy me a couple Margarita's at Cantina. This maple syrup, like fine wine, retains the natural subtleties and spirit of the land upon which it was raised. In the store on Sunday mornings, I like to gaze upon the grouping of bottles and watch the sunlight glance and illuminate the magical brew within. It's good for pancakes, too.
