Tennant & Son Blanket

Once, while golfing in Scotland years ago,  the green on the hole I was playing was surrounded by sheep nibbling away, obscuring my view of the hole and rattling my concentration. What were the chances of actually striking a sheep with my ball? So I swung away, and sure enough the orb came down on the back of one of the flock and knocked it to the ground where it lay still. Apparently I had killed a sheep by golf ball. A couple strolling the course witnessed the spectacle and the gentleman said, "Looks like you'll be having mutton for supper!" Shocked, my friend and I ran to the green to check on the sheep. As we sadly approached, the animal flipped onto its back and rubbed and scratched in the grass like a dog, then satisfied, stood back up and continued nibbling happily. I three putted. Maybe I four putted.
